What's in a name?
What's in a name? Quite a lot actually when it is your own. Like many of you, my business shifted during the pandemic ... and I couldn’t be happier. Demand for ghostwriting and book coaching has skyrocketed.
So I’m going back to my first love — writing — I’m also going back to the trade name I used when I first started in the writing business 20+ years ago ... Take Maggie’s Word for It. A little cocky? Sure. But definitely memorable.
And I'm back to blogging, but with a twist. The last time I was blogging to support my virtual marketing agency. I felt the need to be business-like and give a value add. I won a writing award for my efforts and stopped blogging the next day. I've known all along nobody (except the truly geeky, and I do love you, you're my people) care about the proper usage of a semi colon. Just for sentiment, I'll leave those blogs up, but life moves on and so do I.
From here on out, the blogs will be short. Shorter than this one. And the direction is more personal. I'll be sharing a bit about the fun, quirky, and sometimes sketchy life of a ghostwriter.
